Ipanema Coffee Academy

A coffee training program, the objective of the Ipanema Coffee Academy is for participants to assimilate new information about the production, processing and preparation of specialty coffee that contributes to the greater and better development of their businesses.
The program is open to professionals – roasters, buyers and dealers – who work in the international market. This tool is increasingly used by Ipanema clients to train their staff.
The participants are lodged and receive theoretical and practical training at the Fazenda Conquista, located in Alfenas, MG. The lectures and group discussions are conducted by Ipanema Coffees staff members.
Appropriate for a minimum of 1and a maximum of 5 participants and with a duration of 3 days, the program is divided in modules:
- Module 1 – Key factors in Quality/Harvesting
- Module 2 – Methods of Preparation of Coffee /Certification and Sustainability/Processing Practices,
- Module 3 – Grading/Sample Roasting /Logistics,
