| Cafeera, the Cafeera shops chain, which belongs to Ipanema Coffees, was always a point of reference for coffee quality, and it makes heavy investments in training and upgrading its baristas. Their unique training has been acknowledged and perceived by its customers. At the end of last year, the Danish barista Klaus Thomsen spent one week in Brazil, training the Cafeera shops barists. “Our intention is to maintain our baristas always at the leading edge of technical knowledge. It would be of no use to be concerned with coffees from seed to cup if our baristas were not well trained to extract from the beans the best each of our blends can offer”, said Washington Luiz Alves Rodrigues, president of the company. |
