| On October 11, 2005, 16 representatives of Consumers International (CI) – organization that defends consumers’ rights in 113 countries – visited Fazenda Conquista. The visit included filming to produce a documentary. Named "What is behind coffee prices", the project is aimed at bringing consumers and producers closer, learning more about the farms and seeing the reality of the farms that excel in sustainable production. The video and other publications of the project will show to European consumers the advantages of acquiring coffees that make a difference and how this sustainable consumption improves rural workers’ and their families’ lives. |
