| Opened a few months ago, the Community Pharmacy, one of Ipanema’s social projects, is already meeting the medicine needs of hundreds of people. Target groups are the low-income needy individuals. This month, 315 availed themselves of the Pharmacy. It is expected that the Pharmacy will not only further increase the number of its customers during the coming months but it will also place at the community’s disposal a larger variety of medicines. The work is 100% voluntary and it is expected that physicians and the pharmaceutical segment of the region will join the project. |
